October 1, 2011 (day 14) â Approximately 2000 people marched to the Brooklyn Bridge. The majority of them attempted to cross it via the eastbound roadway, rather than the pedestrian crossing. Police warned protestors that if they continued over the roadway they would be risking arrest. However, police did not stop anyone from entering the roadway, instead backing up as the marchers advanced. Ultimately, several hundred people were arrested.
